Paediatric dentistry: Gentle dental care for your children without fear
The first experience with a dentist can influence a child’s attitude towards dental care for life.
That is why we place great emphasis on a calm approach, patience, and an environment where children feel safe.
We make sure that your child leaves with a positive experience – without stress or unnecessary worries.

Why is children's dental care so important?
Healthy teeth in childhood are the foundation for healthy teeth in adulthood.
With regular dental care:
- we help prevent tooth decay
- we monitor the proper development of the dentition
- we teach children correct oral hygiene habits
- we help reduce fear of the dentist
Our goal is not only to provide treatment, but also to help children learn how to care for their teeth properly.
How does the treatment work?
Every child is different – we always adapt our approach to their age and personality.
1. Introduction and Familiarisation
First, we introduce the child to the environment and the treatment process so they can feel comfortable and relaxed.
2. Examination
We gently examine the teeth and gums without causing unnecessary stress.
3. Explanation and Motivation
We explain to both the child and the parents what is needed and how to care for the teeth properly.
4. Treatment (if necessary)
Any treatment is carried out sensitively and with the child’s comfort in mind.
5. Home Care Recommendations
We show both you and your child how to clean teeth properly and prevent future problems.

When is the right time to bring your child for a check-up?
We recommend bringing your child:
- for their first dental check-up ideally around the age of one
- for regular preventive check-ups
- if they experience pain, sensitivity, or have a visible cavity
- if they are afraid of the dentist and need a gentle approach
The earlier a child has a positive dental experience, the easier future visits will be.
Who provides children's dental care at myDENT?
Children are cared for by experienced dentists who have a gentle approach and extensive experience working with young patients.
They place great emphasis on patience, communication, and building a positive relationship with dental treatment.
