Dental implants: a long-term solution for missing teeth
Are you missing one or more teeth?
A dental implant is a modern, long-lasting solution that restores both the function and appearance of your smile without unnecessary limitations.
Implant dentistry makes it possible to replace a missing tooth with a restoration that looks and functions like a natural tooth. Thanks to modern techniques, treatment is safe, gentle, and highly successful.

How a dental implant can help
Losing a tooth is not only an aesthetic issue. It can also affect your bite, speech, and the health of the surrounding teeth.
A dental implant:
- replaces a missing tooth without the need to file down neighbouring teeth;
- is firmly anchored in the jawbone and functions like a natural tooth root;
- allows you to bite and chew comfortably;
- helps preserve the shape of the jaw and facial structure.
It is a long-term solution that can restore your confidence when speaking and smiling.
How does dental implant treatment work?
We will explain the entire process in advance so that you know exactly what to expect.
1. Initial examination and treatment planning
We assess the condition of your teeth and jawbone and, where necessary, carry out a 3D scan.
2. Implant placement
The implant is placed into the jawbone under local anaesthesia. The procedure is gentle and pain-free.
3. Healing and integration
The implant gradually bonds with the jawbone in a process known as osseointegration. This usually takes several weeks to a few months.
4. Placement of the crown
A dental crown is then attached to the implant. It is designed to match the appearance and function of your natural tooth.

When should you book an appointment?
Dental implant treatment may be suitable if:
- you are missing one or more teeth;
- you do not want to wear a removable denture;
- you would prefer not to file down healthy neighbouring teeth for a bridge;
- you are looking for a long-term, stable solution.
The sooner the situation is addressed, the simpler the overall treatment process may be.
